3. Legal Compliance
Our shipping services comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those governing international shipments, customs requirements, and prohibited items.
3.1 Customs and Duties
For international shipments, you are responsible for providing accurate and complete information for customs declarations. You are also responsible for any duties, taxes, or fees imposed by customs authorities in the destination country. We do not guarantee clearance of any shipment through customs, and we are not responsible for any delays, seizures, or rejections by customs authorities.
3.2 Prohibited Items
You may not use our Services to ship prohibited items, including but not limited to:
- Illegal drugs and narcotics
- Firearms, weapons, and explosives
- Hazardous materials without proper documentation and packaging
- Counterfeit goods
- Live animals (without required permits and specialized handling)
- Perishable goods (without appropriate packaging and expedited shipping)
- Human remains
- Cash, valuable jewelry, or precious stones (without declared value and insurance)
4. International Shipping
When using our international shipping services, you agree to comply with the laws and regulations of both the origin and destination countries. You are responsible for ensuring that your shipment can legally be imported into the destination country.
4.1 Documentation
You agree to provide all necessary documentation for international shipments, including but not limited to customs declarations, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and any other documents required by the destination country.
4.2 Delivery Timelines
Delivery time estimates for international shipments are approximations and not guarantees. Various factors, including customs clearance, weather conditions, and local holidays, may affect delivery times. We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.
5. Liability & Claims
Our liability for lost, damaged, or delayed shipments is limited as set forth in these Terms.
5.1 Package Loss or Damage
In the event of loss or damage to a shipment, our liability is limited to the declared value of the shipment or $100, whichever is less, unless you have purchased additional shipping insurance. Claims for lost or damaged shipments must be submitted within 30 days of the expected delivery date.
5.2 Delayed Shipments
While we strive to deliver shipments within estimated timeframes, we do not guarantee delivery times unless you have selected and paid for a guaranteed delivery service. For guaranteed delivery services, our liability for delays is limited to a refund of the shipping charges.
5.3 Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations under these Terms if such failure is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, civil unrest, strikes, or governmental actions.
5.4 Filing a Claim
To file a claim for a lost, damaged, or delayed shipment, you must contact our customer service department at privacy@digivast.store within the applicable timeframe and provide all requested documentation, including proof of value and photographs of damaged items.
6. Service Guarantees
We are committed to providing reliable, efficient shipping services. However, our service guarantees are subject to the limitations and exclusions set forth in these Terms.
6.1 Delivery Guarantees
If you have selected and paid for a guaranteed delivery service and your shipment is not delivered within the guaranteed timeframe, you may be eligible for a refund of shipping charges. However, delivery guarantees do not apply if the delay is caused by:
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery address or recipient information
- Customs delays or inspection
- Recipient unavailability or refusal to accept delivery
- Force majeure events
- Packages containing prohibited items
6.2 Customer Satisfaction
